LOS ANGELES, CA, 12-APR-2021 :
5G shall be introducing Smart Manufacturing principles to Wipro Enterprises’ (Wipro) hydraulic component manufacturing facility in the US, a project performed under the auspices of CESMII - the Smart Manufacturing Institute, the United States’ national institute on Smart Manufacturing. By developing standard information models for machines at the facility using CESMII’s published methodology, 5G’s BorgConnect® edge computing platform shall enable real-time actionable intelligence to Wipro users via three standard apps. This project shall showcase a frictionless transformation from traditional to Smart Manufacturing practices for a Small and Medium Manufacturer. This project is expected to start mid-May 2021.
